Confused man with papers at home

I’m a 42-year-old man with a long fat dick. I’m not married. Recently, I’ve notice that my sexual performance has dropped. I don’t last long as I used to and my erection is not as hard as it use to be. Is it because I don’t have sex frequently? Or is it natural? Please kindly advise me on what to do. Best wishes from Nigeria.

It’s difficult to comment on your problems based on your brief question, but here are some thoughts:

Your sexual frequency, or lack of is, probably has no impact on your current difficulties. The biological purpose of life is to reproduce life, and the body is hard-wired to maintain its sexual capabilities. Infrequent sex does not incapacitate men sexually. Nor does frequent sex. Frequency is not the issue. Something else is.

If you haven’t had a medical check-up in a while, I’d suggest starting there. Sex problems, particularly erection issues, can be symptoms of illness.

Assuming that you’re healthy, most men notice sexual changes, particularly problems raising erections and less firmness around age 50—see my article, Erection Myths and the Truth About Erections. You’re seeing this at 42, which suggests that your lifestyle may be playing a role in your situation. Do you smoke? Smoking is an erection killer. If you smoke, I’d advise quitting. Do you drink more than two beers or shots or glasses of wine a day. Alcohol is another erection killer. If you drink, I’d suggest drinking less. For help with lasting longer, I urge you to read my e-booklet: The Cure for Premature Ejaculation.

For help with your erection situation, I suggest you read my articles on the Causes of Erectile Dysfunction, and the Treatments.

    I hope this helps.
