Woman Holding Satsumas And Melons To Illustrate Breast Enlargement

I want to increase my breast size naturally without taking any birth control pills or other hormones. Is this possible?

  • Michael Castleman says:

Maybe. Everything I’m about to say is controversial, with some sources saying yes it helps increase breast size and other sources saying no it doesn’t. All I can say is experiment for yourself and see if anything works.

You said you didn’t want to take birth control pills. That’s fine, but for many women, the Pill increases breast size on the order of half a cup size to one cup size. The reason is that oral contraceptives contain estrogen and estrogen stimulates the growth of breast tissue.

Some plants contain plant estrogens (phytoestrogens), notably fenugreek and soy. In traditional Arab medicine, fenugreek was used for breast augmentation, and in Asia, soy was. Most contemporary Western scientists scoff at this, but if you search the Internet for plant-based breast augmentation, both plants come up frequently. I make no promises, but here’s the argument in favor:

Fenugreek seeds contain diosgenin, a compound similar to the female sex hormone estrogen. Diosgenin also stimulates breast tissue growth so some women grind fenugreek seed and add it to foods. It has a maple flavor like maple syrup only not as sweet. There are anecdotal reports that an ounce a day of ground seed for a couple months helps. I can’t say one way or the other, but fenugreek is safe, so it’s worth a try. Meanwhile, fenugreek SPROUTS contain much more diosgenin than the unsprouted seeds. You might try to sprout them and add it to foods.

There are similar anecdotes in support of soy, tofu, and textured vegetable protein, which is a soy food used as a meat substitute. But soy, tofu, and TVP are pretty commonly used by vegetarian women in the US, and I’ve heard little if anything about them augmenting breast size. Still, there’s no harm in adding lots of soy foods to your fenugreek and seeing what happens.

You didn’t mention your age. Many women notice some breast size increase as they age especially after menopause. The reason is general weight gain. Breast tissue is mostly fat, and many women gain weight and fat as they get older. Some of that fat settles in the breasts, enlarging them. Of course, few women want to gain weight, and later life weight gain is associated with increased risk of diabetes, heart disease, and cancer, so I’m not advocating weight gain. But if you’re menopausal and gain weight, you may notice some breast size increase.

That’s all I know. Sorry that it’s not more definitive, but that’s how it is. Good luck!
