My husband had cancer as a child and is now on medication to help his bladder. He is not very interested in sex and does it mostly to keep me happy, but a lot of the time he can’t keep his erection. I know that there is medication out there that can help but will it affect his bladder medications? I hope you can help. He is 36 and I am 42. Please help us. Thank you for reading this.

I wish you had mentioned the drug(s) your husband takes so I could check their interactions specifically. But I checked drug interactions for the erection medications and I see nothing suggesting that bladder medication would be affected by them.

If he decides to try erection drugs, he should definitely tell his doctor about all the medications he takes. The doctor should be able to answer your question about interactions.
