My erection drug, Muse, is no longer available!

use erection drug

I came across an article of yours regarding the erection drug Eroxon and how it doesn’t seem to be that effective. That is unfortunate since so many men are struggling with erections (me included) as they enter their 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s. There is a product that you may be familiar with called Muse. Unlike any other medication, this has worked well, very well. The active ingredient is Alprostadil and Muse is a suppository that delivers a pellet in the opening of the penis. I have used this product for about 10-15 years and while it is expensive, for me, it has been worth the price. The problem is that for the last year, the manufacturer (Viatris) who bought out Myelin has not been making any more Muse. I have spoken to Customer Service at Viatris on a few occasions and they indicate that it is not discontinued, they are having a problem with a third party. A very vague explanation. I assume Muse is not a money maker as most doctors (except urologists) do not even know about it. I have even called and spoken with the FDA to find out why the mystery regarding the disappearance of Muse. They provide no further information. I’m wondering, as a journalist, whether you can uncover the real reason why Muse has been out of circulation for 12 months. There is a gel containing Alprostadil that one can get from a compounding pharmacy, but it does not work nearly as well as Muse. I look forward to hearing from you.
