Hi there! I have seen this problem from the time I started masturbating at 16. My penis will turn flaccid after ejaculation. Normally I  ejaculate in around 3-5 mins. Do I have premature ejaculation?

Also, my penis hangs downwards resembling a banana. Is that a problem?

To be honest, I am still a virgin. I’ve been aware of my problems from the time I started masturbating, so they have not been caused by  too much sex.

I hope you could help me on this. I hope to marry soon. If there’s a need for me to remedy these problems first before marriage, I would definitely do so as I don’t wanna ruin the girl’s married life.

I’m pessimistic. I would hate not to be able to fulfill her needs. I really really hope you could help me on this. I am not looking into surgeries etc. Thank you very much.

It’s totally NORMAL for the penis to go flaccid after ejaculation. Forget what you see in porn—guys coming and remaining rock-hard. That’s drugs and editing. In the real world, men go flaccid after coming. And over time, it takes longer to get it up again. Many teens are can raise another erection within an hour. But with each passing decade, it takes longer. Totally normal.

Premature ejaculation should not be measured in minutes, but in how long you want to last. If you’d like to last longer, over the past 60 years, sex therapists have developed a program that teaches 90% of men to last as long as they’d like. I’ve distilled that program into a low-cost e-booklet, The Cure for Premature Ejaculation. I suggest you buy a copy.

The shape of your penis sounds fine.

About your masturbating, it’s fine, don’t stress about it. As long as it’s your private time, as long as it doesn’t interfere with school, work, family, or friendships, it’s fine for men to masturbate—when they’re single, and after they’re coupled.

It sounds like you could benefit from some good sex information. May I suggest my low-cost e-book, a collection of 135 articles on all aspects of sex. Check it out.
