Worried Young Chinese Man Sitting At Desk Using Laptop At Home

I have a dumb question ( I think). Of course we know the main function of semen is to carry sperm. My question is what other purpose or function does it have when sperm is not present such as in vasectomy or sterility. Is it for visual effects? Does greater volume mean a more intense orgasm?

There are no dumb sex questions. Yes, the main function of semen is to carry sperm into the vagina. Semen also contains compounds that nourish sperm along the way. In addition, some evidence suggests that semen helps expel germs from the urethra. Some studies show that as men’s frequency of ejaculations increases, their risk of sexual infections decreases.

However, the presence or volume of semen have NO impact on the intensity of orgasm, which depends solely on the strength of the pelvic floor muscles that run between the legs. As these muscles become stronger, orgasms become more intense and pleasurable. How to make them stronger—Kegel exercises, which are simple and private so no one knows you’re doing them. For more on Kegels, ask Professor Google, or purchase a copy fo my low-cost e-article, Kegel Exercises for Better Orgasms. It carries a money-back guarantee through PayPal so it’s risk-free.

    I wish you great sex.
