Is Trimix gel safe and effective ?

Responses

  • Michael Castleman says:

Trimix is a three-drug treatment for erectile dysfunction, hence the “tri” in its name. The three drugs are: alprostadil (5 µg/mL to 45 µg/mL_), papaverine (15 mg/mL to 30 mg/mL), and phentolamine (0.4 mg/mL to 5 mg/mL). All three are vaso-dilators meaning that they open (dilate) the arteries of the penis. Dilation allows extra blood to flow into the penile shaft, which produces erection and increases firmness. There’s good research to show that Trimix is reasonably safe, and works better than placebo medication. In case you’re interested, here are two studies:

But all the studies used Trimix INJECTED into the shaft of the penis. The new Trimix gel allows the drug mixture to be rubbed onto the penis. This is a huge step forward. Most men recoil from sticking needles into their penises. Unfortunately, at the moment, I find no published research specifically about the safety and effectiveness of the gel.

Absent evidence published in medical journals, all you can do is try it and see if it works for you.

I wish you sizzling sex for life.
