When you say your penis “hides,” I infer that when you feel fearful, it shrinks and maybe retreats into your lower abdomen.
This is TOTALLY NORMAL.
Whether flaccid (soft) or erect (hard), penis size depends on blood flow through the organ. When men feel fear, stress, or anxiety, those emotions activate the fight-or-flight reflex that sends blood away from the central body, including the penis, and out to the limbs for escape or self-defense. Less blood in the central body means less blood in the penis and it shrinks.
Then you see it looking smaller and that ADDS to the stress/fear that you feel and your penis retreats even more.
You say your erections are fine. That proves there’s nothing wrong with you.
It’s perfectly normal and natural to feel anxious as one’s wedding approaches. This could be the reason your penis has gone into “hiding.”
My suggestions: (1) Now that you know that nothing is wrong, I hope you can relax about your penis. That should help. (2) Take hot baths or showers. Heat is relaxing. After bathing, you should notice that your penis looks a bit fuller. (3) Incorporate a relaxation program into your daily life. Possibilities include: exercise, yoga, tai chi, gardening, and playing music. (4) Tell your bride-to-be that your penis shrinks a bit from stress, but that you’re physically fine. Explain to her what I explained to you about blood flow. That way she’ll learn something about male anatomy and I hope you won’t feel as stressed in her presence.
Good luck! And for more information about penis size, read my article on the subject.
