Yes, that’s a big age difference. But is it too big? That’s really up to the two of you.
Relationships involve risks. Many don’t work out. In general, the more differences between the two people—age, race, religion, politics, social class, education, etc.—the less likely the relationship is to succeed over the long term. However, plenty of relationships have major differences and work out quite happily. It all depends on the two people.
I hope you guys can work things out to your mutual satisfaction.
