My husband and I like to play with vibrators and dildos during sex. Now we’re talking about using a rather large vibrator that will stretch my vagina. But I’m concerned. Is the stretching is permanent? Or, will my vagina go back to its normal size?

As far as I know, any stretching with toys is temporary. I suggest you read my article, Vibrators: Myths vs. Truth. Even the largest sex toy is much smaller than a baby. When a woman delivers a baby, her vagina really stretches. In the vast majority of women, after a month or so, the vagina reverts to normal size. Only in rare cases is there permanent vaginal deformity. Now it’s possible that keeping a large toy in your vagina for a long time might stretch the musculature to the point where it would take day or two for it to revert to normal. But the vagina is very elastic. As far as I know, even large toys have never been shown to cause any permanent vaginal deformity.
