As men age, two things happen. The perpetual arousal they once felt gives way to difficulty becoming aroused. And the nervous system becomes sluggish and less excitable. Combine the two and you have lots of older men having difficulty working up to orgasm/ejaculation.
For young men, sex is automatic and the issue is postponing climax, not having it. But after around age 50, that begins to change, and by the time men are in their sixties, many have trouble getting to orgasm/ejaculation.
Fortunately, a self-help approach usually takes care of this problem. The self-help approach is the the subject of my e-booklet, Ejaculation and Orgasm Problems: Can’t Get There? Causes And Treatments Of This Surprisingly Common Problem.
If the self-help approach doesn’t provide sufficient relief, sex therapists enjoy an excellent track record helping men deal with this problem and return to having orgasms.
