I’m in my mid 70’s and no longer produce semen at ejaculation. I had radioactive seeds in my 60’s. Is there a supplement to help? Thxs.

  • Michael Castleman says:

As men age, semen production declines. The body is very economical and doesn’t invest energy in what’s no longer needed. At menopause, women stop expending energy to produce eggs. In a similar process, older men produce less semen. Many older men continue to produce some fluid at ejaculation, but I’m guessing that your seed treatment of prostate cancer impaired your secretion of prostatic fluid so that now you produce none. The term for this is “dry orgasm.” It’s a change, and change is unsettling. But there is an upside—less messy sex. I know of no supplement that can change your situation. It’s just something you have to live with.
