worried young man

I am 25 years old and have sex problems. I started masturbating at 16 and continue to do it. I am unable to control my sexual thoughts, and often go to masturbation. I also have a small penis problem, 2.5 inches, and I discharge very quickly, within 30-50 seconds. I am very tense and depressed because of these problems. Please kindly advise me.

There’s nothing wrong or immoral or sinful about masturbating. Virtually everyone does it, especially young men. As long as masturbation doesn’t interfere with your life responsibilities—school, work, family, friendships, a relationship—it’s fine and totally normal.

You say you’re depressed, tense, and anxious. Anxiety may be the cause of both your small penis and your rapid “premature” ejaculation. Whether flaccid or erect, penis size depends on the amount of blood that circulates through it. Anxiety constricts the arteries that carry blood into the penis. So worrying about your size reduces blood flow into your penis, which makes it look small. The vast majority of men have penises within the normal size range. I bet yours is, too. Just stop worrying about your size, and your penis should look larger. For more on size, read my low-cost e-article Penis Size: Be All You Can Be.

Tension is also the major cause of premature ejaculation. Fortunately, this problem is almost always easy to cure. Sex therapists have developed a program that cures around 90 percent of men in a few months. I’ve distilled the program into a low-cost self-help e-booklet, The Cure for Premature Ejaculation. I bet it would help you. And if not, professional sex therapy almost always works.
